Information on freeboarding?
I LOVE to snowboard. I hate how its only in the winter, living in a 4-seasonal area. I just saw some videos of freeboarding and I am so siked. I want all information and terminology you can give me about free boarding please. Everything from tips, brands, where to buy, names of tricks, teams. Everything! Also I would like to know how long it would take me to learn it. (It took me 5 days to be able to bomb(go straight down) a double black diamond on the highest incline trail in Pennsylvania. Plus I used a rental board my whole career of snowboarding).
Also can I have an explanation of the technology on how it doesn’t catch edges. And are there any Freeboard tracks, like special places or trails made for freeboarding that go on for miles or whatever.
Also, how do I know what size to buy? I am 5’6″ if that helps.
Freebording is fun but it’s a real pain to learn. It can be a little like snowboarding but when you wreck you are on asphalt. It takes a bit to learn but at least you don’t need lift passes and you can do it three seasons.
There is only one board that is technically a freebord and here’s the link to their site where they explain everything plus some pretty rad vids. The rest are just long-boards which is entirely different.
